Camaro Wireless Charging

I have noticed that on eBay there are some folks selling the wireless charging portion of the rear center console. I f I were to swap this into my existing car which doesn't have it (2LT w/out convenience pkg), would there be a connector inside the center console to plug it into or would i have to run a new jumper somewhere? If anyone has info on this, or has done this upgrade, I'd really like to know. -Thanks!

The wiring will NOT be there, youd have to make your own harness to the bcm

I found a harness on Ebay that has the plug in for the charging pad and the cupholder light. I'm working on an interior spectrum lighting/center console upgrade. Want the part number?

Looks like there's two, one for automatics (23317481) and one for manuals (23317483). But I can't tell the difference for which has the spectrum lighting piece. I'm looking at this, #27

I believe there's an updated charging pad, someone on the DIY section I believe swapped his out and now it worked with his iPhone at least.

He bought the part and installed himself, don't think warranty would do anything but worst they could say is no

GM doesnt have a updated version. it must have been aftermarket.

It does, covered by TSB 18‐NA‐153, part number 84526978.

This is only an upgraded wireless module (with a harness extension) that improves compatibility with newer phones, so the pad itself remains the same and needs to be modded to physically fit large phones.

I was at the dealership today. It’s a customer pay upgrade. I told them my phone is shown to be compatible but won’t charge. It won’t charge any Of the Iphones we have. Put a Samsung on it and it connected. They said they would look at it while it was in for the harness updates. It goes in on 7-2. I’ll update when I know something
