Anyone driven it recently? Wondering what condition the road is in.

Its been a few years since I have been on that road, road was in great shape then, should still be good.

I was on it 2 weeks ago, the road is in great shape.
The TN side was covered in gravel from the winter road prepping.
We've had some good rains since then, maybe its clear now, but not sure.

It is actually closed now, just heard the other day. I know over on 129 right before it intersects with 28 near Deals Gap, there are police checkpoints, checking to see if you a resident of Graham county, otherwise they wont let you through. I am looking for a mountain road that is open to take my SS for a nice "quaratine" ride and get out of the house. Might take a drive on the Devils Whip and Diamondback next week over near Little Switzerland, that area appears to be open at this time.

Do you think you could take a screenshot of a map, and mark where the road block(s) are?

Go to the following website, choose Graham County in the couny pull down list, it shows the little yellow diamond shapes with an exclaimation point in them, if you hover over them it tells you the issues. The one south of Deals Gap on 129 is the pokice checkpoint...I drove in the Devils Whip (NC-80), yesterday, was open, but parts of the BRP are closed. Awesome road!

The Cherohala is one of the absolute best motorcycle roads in America. We've ridden it on 7 different motorcycles. I can't wait to take the Camaro up there!
