Reverse and License plate lights
Hey everyone, I have the 2019 and ive heard LED reverse lights wont work correctly? So I cant just drop in a 7440 LED replacment? Should I go for a halogen instead? I dont care for them to be much brighter but rather more white than they are. EDIT* Can I get an LED with a built in resistor or a "Error Free" LED?
For the license plate lights, can I drop in some LED replacments? If so, which ones? I want BRIGHT! The reason being, i have a tinted plate which looks SO good, but live in a small town and got pulled over yesterday by the only cop here who cares. He said the only reason was because it would be hard to see at night. So I want to make it not even look tinted at night. (Also thinking of throwing an LED strip in the cover but thats a different project) TLDR - What drop in replacement lights can I get for a 2019? |

Phastek and Dyode Dynamics have a kit as well for a reverse bulb setup. For the licence plate and trunk I bought Phillips led bulbs

I went with these Nokya 7440 27w bulbs for my reverse lights. Brighter than stock and got rid of the yellow tint.
The plate lights are $10 LED's from JW Motoring. Work great also. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOKYA-7440-...72.m2749.l2649 |
