SOLD: Camaro SS M6 3.73 diff, 0 miles (Austin, TX)

Edit: SOLD
This was purchased (new) for a project that never happened, so it is a 0-mile factory differential assembly. It was sent to OS Giken who opened the case, took a bunch of measurements, sent it to Japan, where they took more measurements, and then they decided that they didn't want to make a racing differential for the Camaro SS after all. So, they reassembled it and shipped it back to me. It's never been installed in a car, here it is, sitting in a box. Attachment 1048025 It cost me $1,457, asking $500 plus shipping. It is very heavy, so shipping is probably not cheap. I'm in the Austin area and I'm willing to drive at least a little ways to meet someone. |
Price drop, still available.

Hello, I would like to know if the diff is still available. If it is, I would like to confirm that you are currently in the Austin area so I can estimate shipping. I am located in Maryland.

Yep, still have it, and I'm still in the Austin area. (Bastrop)

That's great! It looks like shipping will be around $200. I estimated using a 16x16x16 box at 120 lbs. Pricey but better than spending the money on a new one from gmpartsdirect. I had the misfortune of developing loud rear end whine that persists after multiple fluid flushes. Would you be able to upload a picture of the part number so I can double check fitment? Although I'm pretty sure all the manual non-1le SS's have the same diff.

The box it's in right now is 17x17x21, although I'll likely repack it since the box is a bit roughed up. It's really heavy, here is a pic of the part#.
