6.90 in the 1/8th, next stop 10s in the 1/4!
After months and months of trying to get the car right after the first shop screwed me out of thousands of dollars, I finally hit the sweet spot and threw in a converter. First test hit at Northstar Dragway threw down a 6.90 @100.25 with a 1.54 60', a .5 second improvement over my previous best in the 1/8.
Mods are blower cam, light head work, e85, 3600 FTI converter, bolt ons, and a 17" race star on the back with a 26" tall 275 ET Street R. Hopefully I can hit up Texas Motorplex on Sunday with a good DA and send it into the 10s! |
Great Pass, you'll be in the 10's for sure. Probably 10.80's@125

Congrats on your new PR. Happy to see your up and running, and running strong
|
Thanks! And 10.8 would be amazing. It's been a pain with all this car has gone through (if anyone followed my thread in the v8 NA section here), but it's a monster now and one hell of a daily.

Pretty simple setup overall and the converter woke it up and threw the times way down. |
Glad you got it running good now.
Should be around 10.8 now maybe better. Good luck |
The reason I say 10.70 is because our cars get their asses kicked with all of the shifting going on in the 1/8 mile, but in the 1/4 mile they can make up ground. With good air, the tune being on point, and being able to hook up it'll be interesting for sure.
