RPM gauge not working+stabilitrak+loss of power+ not shifting

Has anyone ever started their car and notice the rpm gauge not working and car not shift gears? Even try to put it to manual but the car does not go into another gear. The stabilitrak comes up. Also the oil pressure gauge goes to zero. Major loss of power even with pedal all the way down the car does not want to move. Sometimes the car wont even want to start. Or the entire tach/dash wont come up. I have changed the starter and battery still having the issue. Even checked the grounds.

Sounds like an electrical failure and a trip to the service department. Could be be main body harness rubbing through because you put wide rear tires on, or a thousand other things the internet will hardly be able to diagnose without seeing the car.

If you don't want to take it in, at least get an OBD-II reader and post the actual codes that the car has been throwing (I assume that with so many failures you have the check engine light on), these symptoms are pretty broad to pinpoint a cause.

Agree.
Also, always post what mods you have when the car has problems.
In this case, as arpad points out, oversize tires count.
