Is there a way to get the notifications whenever someone quotes you?

I've found this thread that says it is not an option here:

But, when I am on my Tiburon forum (newtiburon.com), I can get a notification when someone quotes me or likes one of my comment.

Is it possible to enable it for this forum? Both are using vbulletin.

Yes it can be done with VBulletin. Not sure why it isn't active on this site, but it may be due to expense or server space.

Could also be a version issue. As I understand it, upgrading to a new version of vbul while maintaining an existing database is either very difficult or impossible. If that's true, we'd basically be locked into whatever we had in 2006 when the site went online.

Weird cause newtiburon.com was launched way before and has this feature.

Oh well, we'll deal with it I guess.
