Trickle Charger
I have a 2017 2SS. I plan to store it for the winter in an unheated garage. Can someone recommend a good trickle charger?

i use this. Not the cheapest but it's got most of the bells and whistles for lead acid and lithium batteries

I have been using the Battery Tender model for years on my Vettes and Camaros and they work great. You can pick one up at Walmart for about $20.

Note will not charge a fully dead battery. Need to jump it first. |

I've used Battery Tender on all my show cars has never failed me in the 10+ years that I've owned them. They are a little pricier then some, but well worth it in my opinion.

I use a battery tender on all my cars but the camaro. The camaro I have a ctek 3300. It's made for agm batteries. It seems like it is better quality too than the battery tender. The battery tender has a cheaper feel and stiffer cords.

What ever you do ...DO NOT BUY those cheapy china tenders they sell for 5-$7. They will boil the fluids out your battery. I use the battery tender JR, on all my motor sports items that get put away for winter.

I ordered the 400 Optima to babysit the battery in the Camaro through the Iowa winter.

This may be a dumb question but where are you guys hooking up the charger to? Direct to the battery or to the connections under the hood? Thanks for any advice, I have never had a car that I parked for the winter only motorcycles.
