American Authority just released this picture. I think it looks amazing. It is being released middle of this month. Aluminum hood comes with either smoked cover, carbon fiber, or painted. Looks like I will be selling my 6LE hood.

I’m not a fan of American Authority at all but, if this is a ZL1 replica hood that lines up with the stock SS front end, without that gaudy cowl, I just might be interested.

This may be exactly what I been looking for, I hope the fitment will be right as I know the price will be fair, I'm definatly interested.

Figures I am gonna have to get 0ne but have to wait until my house is done being built. After that my ZL1 conversion is back on.

Just curious why are you not a fan? I have some of there stuff and has been great. I bought their rear bumper and the body shop I had put it on said it had best fitment he had dealt with on after market parts.

Count me in as curious. I’ve had their window louver, ZL1 Side Skirts, and Front Lip and they all fit great.

And their customer service is top notch, on another note. Unlike some other companies I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with.

I suppose it’s more of a preference thing. I find everything they make to be incredibly tacky. This hood, however, might change my perspective if they can pull it off correctly.
