Well after almost 6 years of owning my 2012 Convertible it was time to move to something new. Let me introduce my new 2018 1LE.

Car was built November 2017. Purchased and delievered 1/20/18 from James Martin Chevrolet in Michigan (Thanks Becky!)

First order of busines was a good wash. Car got a bit salty on the drive down.
Used Adams strip wash. The front grill is a PITA to clean by the way.

Next up in the coming weeks is claying (car isnt that bad with surface contaminents), polish to fix some blemishes, and eventually a cermaic coating

Hey Ryan, I painted my strut bar myself. Hung it up by a hanger from a tree limb and shot it. Turned out perfect and then I shot it with clear. I got the paint at Miami Paint of Indy and all you need to do is give them your paint code, they mix it, and put it in a rattle can for you. I bought like 4 cans for Blue Velvet Metallic this past summer so I'm good for a while. Great place to get all your paint needs. I have to make an effort to get to them now as they moved from 54th and Keystone when they operated under the name of G&M Paints.

Good to know. I painted the one on my previous car and added a Camaro decal

Beautiful SS / 1LE. Congrats !

Yea I am over wintering of the coldest on record to start a year. Today 99% is now gone since it warmed up yesterday afternoon and today. The convertible didn’t want to go on the trailer had to shovel some of the street for traction.
