What tire to get?

It was bound to happen sooner or later but sadly, a nail punctured the sidewall on my rear tire. I REALLY want to get the Michelin PS4s but I’m having a very hard time finding them in stock anywhere.

Any recommendations on a good summer performance tire?

Odds are Ill be going Contis in a couple weeks, that is if I can find them.

ExtremeContact™ DWS06 I love these tires.

There are hands down the best street tire that will also give you the most mileage of any of them. Can you order them and get them quicker?

Good luck with your search for the Michelins! I bought GY F1s to put on my ZL1 because the Michelin or Continental rear tires were on backorder! I bought my tires through the local Chevy dealer and got a good deal for tires and alignment last week.

I just installed my Michelin PS4S 295/35 rear 265/35 front on stock SS wheels. You should be able to find them on tirerack no problem.

I have heard good things about the Contis. If anything, they will be my 2nd choice of tire if I cannot find a set of PS4s for my car!

How long have you had the Conits on for? How have they treated you so far?

I have a friend who works for Belle Tire that is checking for me tomorrow! I have a handful of friends who have the ps4s on their car and needless to say, I wish I had gotten a pair earlier as "backup"

I actually checked Tire Rack earlier. They do have the rears in stock but nothing available for the front sadly :/ I really hope they get more front tires in stock so I can get the order submitted if my friend can't find anything at Belle Tire.

If it comes to the point where I can't get the Contis or Michelins. I'll just go ahead and order the Goodyears again.

Do you have any pictures... Is a 9.5" wheel within the specs for the Michelin 295's??? I'd love to go to 295/265 on my SS when I need tires but I don't want to run into any issues on the stock wheels...

No issues at all and I’m on stock wheels, 295’s is the limit, IMO.

Damn, they look good, TireRack shows a minimum rim width of 10.0" for a 295 PS4 (9.5" for 285's), but those don't look to be bulging/pinched at all..

I assume your rims are 8.5" front and 9.5" rears?

Opps well the rear pic I took was the old tiger paw 275s I had on beforehand, let seem if I have a updated rear pic, if not I’ll take one. Regardless they look good, trust me.

Edit: here ya go; yes stock wheels sizes 8.5 front/9.5 rear

Any noticeable difference when taking corners with the wider front tires?
