The Mobil 1 0w-40, Dexos 2, has been making its way into many cars. We have had this in since May. Using in house, and sending it mostly to members over on CF. Making certain the Camaro side knows we have it available. This is a great option for many setups.

Do you sell it in 5qt jugs? What’s the reason it’s 2X the price of Mobil1 5w-30 full synthetic?

I would like to know why the insane level of markup as well. I expected it to be marked-up, but not literally 100% mark-up. I would have bought immediately at 25% but this is a joke.

did you see cheaper price for m1 0w40 ESP? I like to know seriously.
Its just M1 ESP 0w40 is expensive than any other m1 oil out in market. :(

We would like it to be a lower cost as well. This is not a mark up. It is the product, and the price. Research further to understand why.

This is a great oil to use, but there are less costly options for owners' needs.

If anyone needs it, we have it.

Thanks

I don't follow your math. Both vendors are charging $10.00 a quart. Either way - that's steep price per quart. I think for my stock and street driven LT1 - I will stay with Mobil -30 W synthetic.

If I read correctly it is $125 shipped for 10 quarts. The $100 is if you pick it up there.

Our pricing and amount is VERY clear, with our link in the OP. :thumb:

Factor in shipping on that alternative link posted, it evens out.

This oil is hard to find anywhere; I am concerned that dealerships might not even have it, specially since the ‘19 owners manual now lists it as the required oil for the LT1

Seems like they will all need to have some for the free oil change. Probably best to confirm when making the appointment. In any case, seems like any dealer should be able to order it.

woa holy shit and i thought my torco 5w40 i been using was pricey lol

Airfuel 12-03-2018 04:08 PM

Same price as boutique oils like amsoil, redline etc.

I purchased 12 quarts delivered for $123 during the sale from GM wholesale direct.
