Recaro seat install complete on a 1SS - pics inside
 

I (with a lot of help) just installed Recaro seats from a 1LE in my 2017 1SS. The only way to make this work that I know of is to swap the harness from the stock 1SS seat to the Recaro. If you need a video showing how to remove and install the seats, Lethal Garage made one. Here is the link:

I am EXTREMELY happy with how this turned out. These seats made a HUGE difference visually and in terms of performance. If anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer.

I found them on here. I was really trying to save money and was only looking for the driver seat (which is not common, obviously). I found a thread on here months ago and sent a message to the guy. I didn’t hear back for a while, but he messaged me back out of the blue and said he would take $700 for the driver seat. When I got there, he threw in the other seat for free. I am very lucky as $700 is a steal for both. I’m in Saint Louis, and the seats were in Memphis. It was a great day trip down and back with my son to pick them up. We had a ton of fun.

yea 1le brakes and seats are two things i wanted forever finally broke down and got the zzp bbk instead earlier in the year but the seats i would still love

Glad to see it worked out for you! $700 is a steal, especially when all eBay offers are seats with busted airbags with dirty or damaged seating surfaces for $1,500.

I am very grateful and thankful for the deal I got. I couldn’t believe it either.

Then compare that to brand new and the seats cost $2200-$2500 per seat meaning $4500-$5000 for a set. Meanwhile Recaro’s are what a $1600 option from the factory.
