I use mine, and toss them. Wal-Mart sell new ones cheap and I don't have to risk it. Now my Adams products, I use their special cleaner for that.

if you are buying cheap towels that you are throwing away, I guarantee you you are scratching the car on a micro level.

buy 6 good ones and take care of them, I am sure you wont, but for others reading here, dont do this....

at least buy a good drying towel.

Yes this is true. I only use those walmart towels as throwaways. And I never use them on paint. Those Chinese made towels are really poor quality, and likely mislabeled.

I have used the following:
BlackFire MF towel cleaner, works good but costly, I have not repurchased.

Woolite PINK cap. works as good as the BlackFIre, but cheaper

Griots FM Cleaner and Foam Pad Cleaner. This has had the best results, but its not cheap.

I have not used the Free and Clear but might try it. I wash on med hot by them selves and dry in med heat dryer, I have three sealed storage containers in the garage. One for MF towel's, One for drying towels only and One for wash mitts.

Yeah those Walmart towels are good for the wheels, tailpipes, wheel well liners, etc...never use them on the paint/body!
