Official I4 CAMARO6.COM 0 to 60 MPH Times

So I know we had another thread on here somewhere that we had 0 to 60 mph times being posted can't for the life of me find it. But figured why not make an easy to find thread so we can all compare kind of like the 1/8 and 1/4 dragstrip section. I know these cars can hit some nice 0 to 60 times if they hook just right. I still haven't managed that recorded unicorn 0 to 60 mph run where I don't have wheel hop or chirp the wheels. Below i'll post some guidelines for this list I want to generate to help inspire people to keep trying and dialing in their cars stock or modified. To begin i'll list below GM's advertised information as it relates to this thread to give you all the benchmark numbers from their perfect pulls.

2.0T Curb Weight (A8) 3,339 Lbs. - 275HP / 295TQ Stock
2.0T Curb Weight (M6) 3,410 Lbs. - 275HP / 295TQ Stock

0 to 60 (M6): 5.4 Seconds
0 to 60 (A8): 5.5 Seconds

LIST CRITERIA:

Year, Transmission, Modifications (This Includes Suspension and Tires)

Actual Picture of your 0-60 MPH time. I'm not going to be concerned with weather conditions in this thread. Also for list ease of use because I intend to have the list linked to your post keep it to one post and just edit the post with new times. Try to not make comments outside until you actually post a time as i know so many will ignore but let's try to keep this a simple fun list.

EDIT: Thank you Corner Carver couldn't find the old list will be linking those times as most everyone on there posted a pic and what they had.

Do you have an extra package that gets you the performance timer? RS pkg? I don't have this and it seems we have the same model and trim. On another note that's pretty damn good.

It's available on every car. You have to go to the settings (left arrow on the wheel) and enable the performance timer.

Didn't take long to clutter this up despite the post request guess I knew better then I thought but thx. for the location Corner Carver not trying to rain on your parade in there.

Updated with 0 to 60 times from the dragstrip section thread made by Corner Carver. TY for showing me where it was. Try to use the same Post #2 format guys leave the comments or conditions at the bottom of the information just makes it easier to determine stock or modified. Also for those asking tires and suspension changes are considered modified in this because they directly effect 0 to 60 times.

Makes me wanna hang out on a lonely flat road all day to hit 4.5s lol To go off of Jason's comment on the old thread getting the timer to stay off on rev launch is a pain in these cars even a little forward movement starts the timers.

With your hp, if you can plant it, 4.6 to 4.7 is doable and 12's in the 1/4 mile. Nice numbers

That's my goal for awhile is a solid 12s car. Gotta work on the driver mod a bit racing isn't the issue just launching lol.

We need more 0 to 60s people I wanna see improvements!!! vaspen's 5.0 stock in the M6 is awesome.

No worries EvilBee, you've put much more effort into it!:)
Someone should experiment with wheel spin to see how times are effected... Vaspen said he spun the wheels through that whole run... I will play this weekend (I have a usually empty parking lot beside my house)

I only say this because I've seen times of around 3 seconds posted on facebook which we all know isn't going to happen...

My 5.2 was with zero wheel spin...

Well the timer doesn't really care if the car actually moves or not... If you spin the wheels to 60mph and the car doesn't even move because you're just spinning the whole time, the timer will still stop once they hit 60mph.

and the stupid timer will not let you actually step on the gas at all without the timer starting, how the hell you supposed to get a good launch? you think woulda made it key off movement ie: gyro
