Then you need to grab a walkie-talkie and join the Houston group on the way there.

Just saw this, I'd definitely be up for it, so just cruise up the camaro up there. i'd need to stop a ton for gas, i'm current mixed doing 50% 93 and e85. i'm sure i can run up there just on 93 with a light food to the pedal lol. would be fun though. I was thinking i trailer up the car but would almost take the fun out of it.

It's definitely more fun to drive but I will be trailering mine as usual so I can haul stuff for the event. I drove back last year to Houston with 3 other Camaros and it was still a lot of fun.

I hope this is the right place to ask this. I plan to make it this year for the first time with my 68. I want to run the strip, AutoX and the track at the NCM. What things do I need to make sure I have covered for tech inspection. I have done a Goodguy AutoX and was fine for that and it is only a 400hp car with 3.42 gears so it isn't like I'll run and ET that requires a roll cage and things like that.

I realize this is a Gen 6 site but I couldn't really find anywhere else to ask this question. I tried emailing the contact email for Camaro Fest but have gotten no answer.

Thanks.

Perfect place to ask and can't wait to have your 68 running.
Our tech is not that extensive and if you've done Goodguy you are fine. I saw your e-mail as well but waiting on Joe to answer which I'm sure he will.

Anyway... bottom line is you're fine. Only NCM has noise restrictions so if you are running straight pipes it could be an issue at that track.
