Big Wing On carbon Trunk?
 

I have been trying to trade my 1LE Trunk for a non spoiler trunk so I can stick an APR Big wing on it. Haven't had any luck so considering some other options.

Does anyone have experience putting a big wing on a carbon fiber trunk? I see a few of them say they are not designed for the downforce and could cause damage.

I also found these but I'm assuming they will come unpainted.

I would not do it. unless you could reinforce the underside a lot. carbon is strong but it cracks easy or at least the clear does leaving exposed weave from chipping off.

only guys is see with cf trunks and cf wings are ricers lol


if you wanted to do both you would probably have to have it body mounted or add extra support to the cf trunk to make sure it will be fine

I had a ZL1 1LE wing on an Anderson Composites trunk with no issues.

Have you tracked it much?

I was looking into getting an OEM trunk but they cost about $800 shipped then the local paint shop wants $800 to color match paint it.

Going to just have to wave down white Camaro owners and be like "Hey swap me trunks" lol
