Quick Jacks are on sale 3/03 until 3/10/21

Got this email today, good price and free shipping. I have the BL-5000SLX and couldn't be happier with it. Lots of threads on these and sizing, the SLX works fine using the rearmost front lift point, stable as a rock, that and you can also lift a Camry with it. For what its worth I purchased the EXT extension kit with it and have never used or needed it, probably never will.

Would it be worth investing in the 7000slx?

I was curious on this as well. I have my car and a 5500lb Tahoe that I work on fairly often. I watched some videos and stuff on these and it seems like they’re built to handle more than their rating, but the extra money for a higher rating might not hurt.

If you have a full size truck/SUV its worth it all day, keep in mind the weight of them is going to increase with capacity. I have a first gen Toyota Tundra and the 5000 handles it fine (4700lb truck), if I planned on buying a F250 in the future the 7000 would make more sense.

I really like my QuickJack. I went with the 7000 EXT option so I could use the front-most and rear-most lift points on the Camaro and also to be able to handle my SUV.

When I purchased it back in summer of 2019, it was $1400 with some deals they had going on at the time. Looks like they've increased their price a little bit since then, but I'd say it's still worth it for easily lifting the Camaro.

I have the 5000 and it makes working on my cars so much easier. I do have the extension brackets since I didn’t feel very safe using the rear front jack points. These are expensive but worth it, saves pinch welds and I feel much safer under these than jack stands.

If you do buy a QuickJack, check that both Schrader valves are present. One of mine was missing and it took NINE DAYS of "overnight shipping" to receive it from QJ. I was told their distribution center "lost power" on Day 3 and then I waited another 6. And no, there was no significant weather happening and I live in a major metro area.

I've read on another forum that this is common problem with their current stock. Apparently QuickJack makes the missing valves your problem rather than open each package and verify whether their offshore manufacturing screwed up.

Where are QuickJack made?

I seriously considered these for a while, but I just couldn't justify the cost over some good race ramps to do the amount of work I actually do on my car (fluids, brakes, etc...). It would have just been overkill for me.

But they would be amazing if you do a ton of work under your cars, for sure. I don't have any with the Camaro now that I installed lifting pads in all six positions when I really need to lift. Otherwise, ramps are easy and do the job.

I have had these for a few years and still say they are worth every cent

Makes doing routine jobs like oil changes and tire rotations so easy and have found using them when doing a full detail is way easier since you can change the height of the car with push of a button to do the bottom rockers

Same, when I lifted from the rear lift points the back of my bl5000 raised off the ground about 1/2 of an inch until the lift reached working height. That made me nervous enough to get the extensions.

It may have been ok without them but I was happy to pay the extra $ for added safety.

I had my QJ before I got my Camaro or I would have went with the 7000

I really want these

Do you use the SLX frame extensions on the pinch welds or some other part of the underside of your Camaro? I got them, but mainly for my daily driver.

China.

The 5000SLX "Bundle" (includes the hangars and pinch weld blocks) is on sale at Costco for $1199 shipped through 3/28/21. I'd be all over it if I didn't have the convertible as the "middle" jack points are not usable because of the under-car braces. I would need the 5000EXT.
