Crackle tune....thoughts?

Had a friend add the crackle tune to my current tune. I know most either love or hate it. I like that I only hear it when I purposely downshift over 3k rpms. I'll get a video while driving soon.

What is involved in making that happen? That can't be healthy for the car.

I think it's fun. Sometimes you just gotta make noise.

I will admit, I never thought I would like or use this. But it's quite fun and addicting. It does add some flavor to the otherwise kinda boring exhaust note from the LTG.

Worse that can happen is you get less mpg and it could wear down the exhaust valves over time.

initial thought, fine for a euro - american muscle, not so much. the straight 6 m54 actually has a purposed resonator for silencing the crackle pop.

How can I get this ?

BNR makes a tune with it or any experienced tuner can do it with the current HPTuners tables there is more to it but your basically adding fuel on deceleration causing it to ignite in the cat or exhaust and make the snap crackle pop sound.
