2019 HMI location help
 

Can someone tell me the location of the HMI, it’s not in the same place as a 2018 under the glove box, looks like there’s a spot for it, but it’s not there, thanks for the help .

I think this is what you're after...It is still under the glove box...but instead of laying flat across like in '16-'18, it's mounted vertically on towards the right side for 2019 +. There is a video on youtube on switching the iou module to get navigation for those that don't have it. Hope this helps.

I already have the nav, how do I add the HD radio to my current system?

if you have a 2SS with Nav, then HD radio is already part of your system.

Are you sure they have HD radio? The 2016 to 2018 don't. I didn't think they had added it.

I could've swore when I had my 2017 2SS with Nav that to the right of FM logo and channel, there would be another smaller HD logo light up orange when it got an HD signal. When I get close to home it would always cut in and out of HD and regular radio.... Same with our 2017 Silverado is just a 1LT with factory nav and it has HD radio. Glad the new 1SS doesn't have it so it doesn't cut in/out of HD and regular radio when I get close to home as it's mildly annoying.

I seen that when I was standing on my head, but I didn’t think that was it because it had all the aluminum fins , so the 2019 don’t have the traditional HMI module ? . My wife got me a navtool module so I could have a front camera and the directions say to plug it into the HMI module it has color coded plugs but I don’t think they match the this module ,I will need to look at it again because I was looking for the plastic HMI.

I have the nav and bose but there is no hd logo or option on the radio. I work for a HD radio station and need to hear it so I can set the sound correctly for the station.
