Quick jack bl 7000 slx

Got my quick jack bl 7000 slx. Jacked up my 2017 camaro SS, worked perfect. I have 3 bolt on aluminum pinch weld blocks on each side. From front to back I used the second one and the third one to lift it. I used the tall rubber blocks and placed the horizontal blocks. It's perfectly solid when in the air. I also zip tied 4 roller ball bearings to the frames to easily roll it under the car for easy storage.

Nice, I have the BL-5000SLX and do the same, the car is solid as a rock. In before the folks saying you need the EXT or you'll die. I purchased the extensions and have never needed or used them.

I have the 5000slx i bought for my mustang but never used. Thought they would be to short. You guys use the middle and back pinch weld locations? Wouldnt the front and middle make more sense?

I’m in the market for new DIY stuff. Looking for a jack and jack stands but I’m also interested in them. Although, they are expensive lol.

The nice thing about the EXT is you can lift it from the front and rear points. It looks like you can get by with the normal one, but my preference is definitely to have the car lifted from the front point to minimize how much of the car is cantilevered out.

Looks like the BL-6000XLT model would work nicely with the far forward and far back lift points? I did a quick measurement and found (for my 2021 ZL1 with the zl1addons pinch weld mounts installed):

Tire spread: 90"
Lift Spread Min: 65"
Lift Sprad Max: 70"
Clearance: 6"

The BL-6000xlt is damn near perfect for these cars. Unfortunately that $250.00 off doesn't apply to that model though according to their website.:happy0180:

The 7000 EXT fits perfectly if you want to lift from the front and rear lift points. I haven't compared the specs of that to the 6000XLT one, but certainly would not go any shorter than the 5000/7000 EXT models if you want to lift from those points on a 6th gen.

Yeah, and out of stock for what looks like to be quite some time :-/ May check back next year and pick one up. I have a nice set of the 80" race ramps to tide me over for now.

The 6000xlt is 10 inches longer than the 7000ext on both min. and max spread. And agree with what you said about not going shorter than either the 5000ext or the 7000ext models. :happy0180:

Yeah, they are pretty close... It looks like the 6000 has a little more lift point spread and is a little longer but can lift 1k pounds less. Site says it's very good for long wheel base EV type cars typically.

When I measured out my car as per the Quick Jack website it looked like the wheel to wheel spread (2" off the ground) was 90" and from the front of the front zl1addon lift point clamp thing to the back of the back one was 70" and the back of the front zl1addon lift point clamp to the front of the back one was 65" (for the center section of the part of the zl1addon lift point raised section).

Did anyone else measure the car? https://www.quickjack.com/support/measuring-guide/

It depends what you want it for. I chose the 7000 slx so I can lift all my 5 vehicles with one lift. ( includes truck). The ext was to long for 2 of them.
