Anyone trading the Camaro for the new Vette? :D

I found it very interesting that Tadge confirms that the car reduces peak torque output by around 15 - 20% for the first 500 or so miles. He says it is the first generation to do that.

How many buyers are going to have no idea that is the case? lol.

really cool video - thanks for posting. I like the convertible version - you give up nothing vs. a hardtop other than 80lbs and $7K. I could see one of these replacing my Camaro and my Porsche Panamera in a year or two. Probably wouldn't get a 2020 tho.

I liked how around the 42:00 minute mark Tadge talked about how Corvette is almost it's own brand and they don't put the big bow ties on it or have it say Chevrolet on it

I won't trade my 1LE but that 'vette may get added!

There is at least 1 bowtie on it. So thats not completely true. And I Im sure if you lift the hood you will see the "Chevy Performance" plate just like in our camaros.

That was my original thought that if I got one it would replace the Panamera and the SS convertible would stay. But now seeing the Convertible version and it's basically also a coupe - not sure I'd really want or need both cars.

OTOH if I got a base coupe for $60K instead of a Z51 / Mag ride vert for $74K that almost saves enough $$ to just keep the SS and have both plus my truck.
I'm also not convinced Z51 is worth $5K since it doesn't include mag ride.
Since I highly doubt I would track that car.

Don’t think Jay is a ford guy. He has hundreds of cars including several corvettes.
Probably lots of fords too. Must have a GT. He has a lot of really Quirky stuff you have never seen before.
