ZL1 Add-ons Wicker Bill on Deck Spoiler
 

Hi guys, first Camaro & first post. :happy0180:

I have a 2019 Mosaic Metallic Black 2SS with the stock deck-style spoiler and am considering the ZL1 Add-ons wicker bill.

I love the look of wicker bills on a blade spoiler but I'm a little hesitant with the deck style.

What do you think?

I don't like the wicker bill myself but like the blade style spoiler , have you looked at an extended blade style like this ?

That one looks nice but they don't make it for the '19.

Would love to see some more photos of the wicker bill once you get yours installed! It's hard finding spoilers/wicker bills that work with the 19+ 2SS with the rear mirror cam.

The previous owner had one on my car but removed it at some point. Some of the rivet nuts pulled out and broke the stanchions and the under side of the spoiler. The bill rubbed through the paint on the quarter panels and trunk too.

Good to know. I'll keep a millimeter gap or so to avoid that.

How rigid is it? Just doesn't seem there is a lot of surface there to mount to and not a bunch of support either.

It's on there relatively tight. And what I mean by that is this particular spoiler is rounded on the back and that was part of my initial concern. The ACS Composite deck spoiler and blade spoilers have a flat section so mounting would be more sturdy.

This kit also didn't come with riv-nuts so it's held on by about 9 screws straight into the spoiler. That would have been better and some of their kits do use them.

If you hold onto the wicker and try to bend/move it around, it's on pretty sturdy but could be improved with a different spoiler and riv-nuts.
