Engine light (CTS)
 

I have a 2016 V8 and the check engine light came on on the way home from work. I had 500 miles left on my warranty so i figured i would take it in on the weekend. Woke up the next day and it was acting like it was going to stall out. Decided to take it in and they said it was the coolant temp sensor.

Anyone else had this issue so soon? Seems strange it would wear out under 36,000 miles. Glad it happened now than later though.

With 20 miles left on my warranty my engine light came on again and the engine fan was at full speed. Turned the car off and the fan stayed on for 15 more minutes. Took it in again and they say it is the thermostat. Been in the shop for a week now waiting on the part and a mechanic to install it.

Hope nothing else goes wrong as it wont be under warranty next time.
