Plug and Play Harness Kit for 1LE Recaro Seats
 

Gen5DIY is excited to say that we have developed a plug and play kit that allows you to add the seat cooling fan function to your base model Camaro with the Recaro seats. We currently have it installed in our car and is working awesome.

We would like to see who is interested in this conversion, for those first 20 people to respond we will discount your order by 20% off the below listed prices. Kit will be available for either just the driver's side or for both sides. Price is $99.99 for the driver's and $149.99 for both. Production on these kits will begin in early May with a delivery by mid-May. Where would the switch to turn on and off for the fans be located? I'm interested in the idea (I have a 2018 1LE 1SS without cooling seats) but really curious about the design

That's cool, I live in CO and drive it year-'round so would like heat if I'm gonna do the work to install some new wiring and switches.

can you confirm if the 2017 1SS-1LE has this? Or does only the 2SS-1LE have them?

i installed the 2017 1SS-1LE seats in my 1SS. I don't have the heated seat function either.. want to make sure this will work on base 1SS with 2017 1SS-1LE

Yes it does. All of the RECARO seats (the ones put in the 1LE cars) have the the seat blowers and heating element on them... GM just didn’t enable the function on the 1ss cars.
