How much tread left

Has anyone ever measured how much rubber is left after the grooves are worn to a slick? G3r's. My rear set is almost a slick. Less than 1/32 or so at the lowest point. Wondering how many run sessions I have remaining. I have 4 track days on them (16 sessions at 25 min a session).

From the look of that tire you are riding on maypops! Good luck with more track days on them.

What camber are you running ?

-2.2 rear. I think I can squeeze a day out of them.

I would agree... just watch them and have a plan for back up

Will do. I have a complete fresh set in the garage. My fronts have 4 run sessions on them. Trying to maximize rubber is a pain. I could run one set of tires all season in my miata. But I would never go back - because 650!

Probably at least a session in them depending on the track and how hard you are driving.

The killer for me is driving to and from the track on them. If it were just track days alone id be ecstatic with 16 sessions at my local place.

I tow a small trailer with my track wheels and swap them at the track. I agree, driving on your track tires is not ideal.

Not really - I do it all the time. 3 in the back seat and one in the front. It’s a piece of cake.
