Chasing the Northern Lights
 

Heading up from Boston to Montreal for the G2 at around midnight on 8/31 to 2 am on 9/1. I think I will need to be north of Montreal to avoid to the light pollution. Any advice?

I don’t on the lights but we went to Montreal a few years ago over Labor Day weekend and found out it was fetish weekend downtown

I believe every weekend is fetish weekend in Montreal.

I would just to see the sights, nothing like seeing 300 pounds stuffed into red latex.
We stayed in a B&B but about two blocks up was the hotel that served as the HQ for the event. We kept seeing costumed ( and barely dressed )people, and we where thinking is this normal? I picked up one of the city guides books and there it was, full page ad with all the events
