$750,000 ZL1
No, it’s not a 6th Gen..... sorry for the click bait :)
Hammered for $750k today! https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0121-44...QR3rRFjqSyine0 Would you get an old school ZL1 if you had the cash? If so would you drive it or just dust and polish it in your living room? |
Saw that cross the block . .!
I watched that as well! A really nice car! 750K Nice? maybe if you have more money than brains! lol
Too bad it was restored and not the original engine but damn nice!!
I would have traded him straight up.
Hey I guess if you have the money to buy it then why not! No I wouldn’t dare drive it on the street for some idiot driver to run into and destroy it in an accident.
:thumbup:So let’s keep ours and sell them 50 years sur later:thumbup:
Good luck with that idea Yves! I will be long gone 50 years from now anyway.
Stick a light box on top and taxi sign on the door. Yuk.

The prices at that auction bordered on ridiculous. I think people are once again trying to find tangible investments and are putting money in places other than the stock market.
If I really wanted one Id make a knock off.
750k for a 69 Camaro is a bit much in my opinion. Obviously they are wanted badly enough that people pay for them however. |

We haft to remember these men and women who were probably kids when these cars came out, they where poor and the family couldn't afford them. Imagine current ZL1/1LE coming out for only a year, and your a teenager and you know it's a ground breaking car, Later in life your stinking rich, you/we would pay anything to have one. ! The way I look at it if money was no object, a 1969 camaro/1970 chevelle with a LS7, T56 magnum, protouring suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, push start, and AC. I have a T56 magnum LQ4, 4 wheel disc brakes, and soon to be twin turbo charged.
