Exhaust Update....AGAIN 🤣

Okay. My last post was please help me decide....
So, I had Kooks Lts LTs catless with str8 pipes. Sounded like heaven OUTSIDE the car. INSIDE the cat gn at 1500 2000 rpms. DRONE couldn't do it. Put the Npp back on and pulled fuse 51..sounds like heaven in and outside the car..Buutttttttt, to much like heaven. Just ordered the BORLA ATAK AXLEBACK with NPP and black diamond tips! Game over. Who else has this setup with Atak axlebacks.

So I recently installed an axle back in convertible. Magnaflow. Sounds awesome. Had some minor drone from 1500-2200 RPM. I dug into the trunk a bit and found there is ZERO sound insulation back there. Cabin has some but trunk is bare. So I added sound deadening mats everywhere I could - pretty much the entire trunk floor. And what a massive difference it made in cutting down exhaust noise in the cabin with the top up. And took care of most of the drone the system had. I would recommend this if you install an exhaust that is just slightly too loud - makes all the difference. Almost sounds back to stock levels under cruise conditions, but you can always hear a hint of the motor. Reminds me a lot of the Dinan system on my old E39 M5 now. Which is exactly what I was looking for.

I might try that with the Atak/kooks Lts. Even tho it has Npp still might sound crazy.
