2021 Production Update
 

Ok folks. Just received the revised 2021 Build-Out schedule.

2021 Camaro build-out is now July 16th. Final dealer order submissions will happen on 5/6/21 and the final consensus is the 2nd consensus of April(next week).

If your dealer doesn't receive an allocation on their consensus next week, they more than likely will not be able to fulfil your 2021 order that is at 1100 status currently.

will this push 2022 production start into July? And push Allocatons further out then end of april?

Thanks for the info! I'm one of those stuck at 1100. I ordered on Feb 25 and had checked out a number of dealerships to make sure they had allocation prior to picking the dealership that put the order in for me. Three people at the dealership told me they had allocations for Camaros and they are a large dealership group with very good online ratings so I want to believe them.

The salesman I ordered from has been great about getting back to all my inquiries but tells me that he has no idea why it is still at 1100 when he knows for a fact they had no problem with allocation. He seems almost as frustrated as I am. I have only seen one order number after mine that has moved past 1100 on Joe's Team Becky sub-forum but many that are still at 1100.

My fingers and toes are crossed for all of us stuck at 1100 that they will all move up next week!

Yes it will. 2022 production now begins on 7/19/21 and first order submissions will happen on 6/3/21. First consensus is now the 2nd consensus of May.

I am confused I was able to submit an order for a 2022?

Orders can be made but there's no allocation yet to accept it into the system for production.

I'm also in the same situation as you, my order was submitted Feb 20th and my dealer claims he has an allocation.
Hopefully we get up to 2000 status I would be delighted :emoticon14: :thumbup: then I would assume things would start moving as long as the plant is back up.

I'm not sure how the consensus works. When I tried to order a 2021 the first week of April, my dealer did not have an allocation for a 2021, so on April 8th they ordered a 2022 for me and supplied me with the order number.

Does this mean it's possible that next week my dealer could get an allocation for a 2021?
