2 - 2018 1LE in for upgrades

Without a doubt, ADM Performance and the LSA Conversion Store LT4 Supercharger upgrade has become the proven leader in LT1 forced induction. Since the release of the 6th Gen Camaro a few years ago and new GM LT trucks and SUV's shortly thereafter, adding supercharged boost to the new direct injected LT1 engine has gone mainstream.

Thanks to GM and Eaton's most efficient head units and "Dual Liquid to - Air Intercoolers, ADM is creating supercharged nightmares ranging from 635hp to 840HP has now become the new "normal" and the next generation of Chevrolet Camaro SS,Corvette and soon to be released 5.3 and 6.2 liter truck.

With only 4.5 - 7.9 psi on pump gas or E85 your 2016+ Camaro SS can enjoy a gain of 160+ HP TO 200+ HP to the tires, ADM Dual Heat Exchanger Intercooled System coupled to the LT4 head unit will do just that.

The addition of the Stage II E85 Flex Fuel system upgrade will yield 50+ rwhp horsepower at the same boost level as 91 or 93 octane.

Here are 2 2018 1LE Camaros that were completed and delivered to their owners just days ago.

Car #1

Final Dyno on Flex Fuel Car - 5.2-5.4 PSI

Here are the final numbers on the Flex Fuel car with our largest pulley, A 2.9" with Headers makes just over 5 psi boost at peak with a staggering 600+ rwhp .

With the lower boost we are able to keep the temps even further down than the higher boost levels as well as now being able to run more timing than before. Another favorable is that we are able to maintain proper fuel pressure and injector duty cycle with this setup.

Wow. Very, very impressive numbers!!

Awesome job.

Car number 2

This car with our base kit and a rotofab made a best of 575 and 575 on 93 octane fuel. Boasting 2 more lbs of boost on stock exhaust manifolds and cats.

You can see that it had over 2lbs more but made less power than the e85/flex car in pics.

So I get the question all the time about my thoughts on these blowers and heat soak.

The answer is all cars get some form of heat under the hood and on their components that reside there ( Common Sense). But its not the end of the world, real world!

Gm did a great job at controlling temps on the 6TH GEN Camaro with all the additional coolers and their purposes. I sometimes presume that most here know how their car cooling is setup from the factory, but I am wrong by assuming.

The configuration that we use maintains the EXACT COOLING LAYOUT as the ZL1. This means that when you buy our LT4 Kit for your 2016-2019 Camaro SS you are receiving the exact same layout that GM designed for the ZL1 and CTSV(Even ATSV IS SIMILAR)

The ZL1,CTSV,Z06 all spin the LT4 Supercharger to roughly 19840 rpm at 6200rpm(engine speed). The engineers did a fantastic job at cooling for this blower speed on the Camaro and CTSV.The frontal area and cooler layout allowed them to use 2 coolers(Large and a small running in series) to keep temps in check at all aspects of driving, including the nurburg ring. They were even able to give a 100,000 mile warranty.

So with this being said I will conclude with saying that Heat Soak or Rather Heat control is a non issue with our kit since we
A: Slow the Blower down to roughly 18370 rpm(Produces less heat)
B: Use the same ZL1 coolers, pump, lines etc in our kits gm has already tested for us.

Really great stuff. Did you just get the psi drop by adding headers, or did you also increase the size of the pulley at the same time?

Headers and pulley size.

:respekt: well done. I am thinking about doing the same thing on the Magnuson...keep pushing the envelope...we appreciate all the great work you guys are doing!

Question: Are ZL1 / CTS-V OE headers larger / different than the SS's?

If deciding on remaining with the SS (1LT) OE headers, which boost levels are necessary to reach the 560-580 RWHP mark on pure 93?

Headers - They are all basically the same.

We make north of 700 through stock manifolds ie headers all the time.

What fuel system does the car have in place?

Thanks Andy for confirming this. This input further fortifies the decision to remain with the stock manifolds when upgrading with your kit.

Just LT4 HPP and LT4 INJ. 1LE Cars have ZL1 In tank already

Ok I figured it probably had the LT4 fuel setup just wanted to make sure.
