This tool may help some. When doing modifications I like to take a scheduled approach, not just adding more horsepower and torque. There are other things that can greatly improve performance. I.E. suspension upgrades, gearing, losing sprung and unsprung weight. This thread is not to slam others about their performance upgrades. It is a spot to discuss an approach to upgrading the performance. All questions and input is appreciated. But we will not get into slamming each other or pushing products in here. Basically a place for mature performance discussions.

If you are a performance driver, my personal opinion is that a "Driver Mod" is always a good thing before you go tearing into your car. If you know how to to drive your car properly you would be amazed at the results you get. I.E. guy with big upgrades who doesnt know how to drive versus a guy with mild upgrades who knows how to drive.

But Really! Here are some pictures of my Complete Custom Wheel (CCW) drag wheels and tires. In the first pic, the left is the rear, right is the front. Second picture shows rear in the foreground. Last picture is just of the rear straight on. 57-1/2# for the rear, and 48# for the front. There is approximately 11" of rubber on the ground in the back and about 9" on the ground in the front. The MT's are sticky, sticky, sticky! :D |
