Wrecked ZL1 rebuild on YouTube

These guys just picked up a wrecked ZL1 to rebuild. They post every few days with update if interested. Not connected, just like watching stuff like this.

Thumbs up for Goonzquad. Their views:subs ratio is insane, it's great to see hard, high quality work rewarded on what can often be a low effort, high reward platform.

Wow I like those guys. No fear! I will check it out. And so many of us worry about the little things.

And we worry about how the dealers lift our car for an oil change. But seeing the ZL1 picked up by a front loader was disturbing.

And they wondered why the pipes were a little crushed?

Those dudes got me hooked. i'm looking forward to them swapping that rear quarter.

No Airbag Deploy?

Ive watched them since they rebuilt the C7 Z06. They do all their own work. Paint, frame work, motor and suspension. They have no fear.

While I find them cringy they do get props for doing all their own work and tacking high profile cases.

They mentioned the car was not running and being transported when the booboo occurred.

Yeah, saw that after watching 45 min of you-boob....

I get a laugh from their comments but impressed they tackle such a job...

That was a BIG booboo.... must have been trailering it when it came loose....

Thats a call I would NOT want to make..... ahh dude... about your ZL1....

They paid $31,000 for it

It’s got the AlAcantera.

They bought $10.000 in parts, $41,000 total plus labor and paint and frame machine. Cheaper to buy a new one. Whats a salvage zl1 worth?

I think these kids are awesome.

They are learning an invaluable skill and teaching the rest of us who are not brave enough to tackle something like this.

More impressive than that is the fact that they are not using Youtube to make assholes of themselves like most people their age are doing.

I admire them.
