Need help asap... (Resolved)
Lost my keyfob, I have the key to get into the car, but I can't find the keyfob which means I can't start the car.
Need fast quick solution to get a new keyfob and hopefully not pay the Dealership bullshit price for it. |
Call a mobile locksmith.
|
Update: Called a locksmith, I guess they can replace keyfobs as well
 |
Didn't the car come with two key fobs ??
|
May not be the 1st time.
|
I'd probably be more worried with where that keyfob is. Did it fall down the toilet?
|
Update: Retraced my steps for 4 blocks twice (16 blocks total), couldn't find the keyfob. Got the locksmith to code a new one for me.
$530 Walking back to work from parking garage, going up the stairs to my office, and there's the old keyfob. And with that goes my MBRP Axle back exhaust |

Now I know not to do that, because if they ever have to change the coding on the keyfobs they need 2 keyfobs to delete an old one. |

Glad you found the original fob. So now you have two that work, or was there a problem deleting the wrong fob? |

Think I'm set for now. At least I hope I am. |
I'm waiting to get 147 notification cards to bring my car in for the start button moved to the key fob ring because my knee might hit it on the dash in an accident!

Ouch... if it's business hours, can't you call a local dealer to make one with the VIN?
