2022 Camaro Canadian Allocations
 

I placed my order for a black 2022 ZL1 convertible on April 8th. My dealer told me that US orders take priority over Canadian orders. Does anyone know when Canadian allocations and TPWs may take place. I’ve never ordered a new vehicle before and I thought I’d be near the front of the line to get a new Camaro since an order was placed on the first day orders could be entered.

I asked for an update today from my dealer and they said they would look into it. I ordered mine June 15 I think it was. If I hear anything back I will let you know.

I asked for an update via gm.ca chat on the weekend but they are still waiting from a response from the Order Desk. My dealer is trying to find out as well. I’ll let you know if I find out anything too.

I ordered my 2021 the end of January with a dealer allocation- just found out last week my TPW is August 2. Crazy wait times for Canadian’s.

Just placed an order last week here in Alberta. The dealer was waiting this past couple months for the ordering of the 22s to start and they told me I was not able to order a 21. Finally got the call a week ago telling me my order went through for a 22, paid the deposit and then receive the build sheet from the order desk. From what I am reading I could be waiting a while for the car to show up. lol Dealer said likely September but I am doubtful now lol.

What color did you get and what options?

The Salesman at my dealership is wondering what dealer you ordered from as the vehicle locator won’t even search for a 2022 Camaro if you don’t mind sharing that info.

It is a 2022 Camaro ZL1 Convertible in the Riverside Blue Metallic colour. I got pretty much all the options you can get. Sticker price is $87,323. I ordered it from Sherwood Park Chev in Sherwood Park, AB. I was number 1 on their wait list to order and waited a couple months before the ordering opened up for them.

Back when I was waiting for my camaro in March, I would just call the GM Canada "Order Desk" myself. Give them your dealer code (easy to find online) and order # and you could just ask them yourself the status......TPW's, etc etc..

My neighbor works at the LGR plant and said they are shutting down next week. So if you have a TPW of Aug 2nd let's hope it makes it through the line before they stop.

Well thats not good. Why are they shutting down again? Didn't they just fire back up a couple weeks ago? Maybe getting switched over for the 22 builds which I read was suppose to begin second week of Aug.

What is the GM Canada Order Desk phone number. Also, how do I find the dealer code? I did a quick Google search but couldn’t find anything.

Just spoke to my dealer today. He said everything is good to go. Order accepted and at 3000 status.

I placed an order for a ZL1 1LE 4 months ago and there is no change in the status.
