Ventus Veloce--Carbon Fiber Aero

2 Attachment(s)
There’s a new manufacturer of carbon bits for our cars. They seem to make some claims about aerodynamics and such but, I’ll leave that to them for an explanation of which.

I will say, however, their rear diffuser design is certainly a step in the right direction as far as a functional aerodynamic piece is concerned. Check them out if you’re curious.

I'm not a huge fan of that side skirt but, I imagine that may be willing to make more parts. They also make a ZL1 1LE style spoiler, too. I believe all of their parts are dry carbon fiber--hence the price.

That is my new favorite diffuser for the 6 gen. WOW. The little wings on the side bother me a little... but I'd probably get over it since they rest is so badass. The fins are massive... so damn good. I like that the exhaust tips are full enclosed by the diffuser, I always like that look.

They mention this is for the 4 turbo and v6... and that quad tips require extra work. Some welding apparently. I'd like to know exactly what that extra work is and why since it looks like it would fit the tips just fine. Perhaps mounting points or something?

its uhh defiantely interesting lol

Yeah. It is. Honestly, if they made that diffuser without that little winglet on the back, it would look substantially better.

I agree the wings on the diffuser are a bit much. I do like it but noot $1200 like it.

Yeah, that's clear.. shows quad tips in photos, says only fits 4 and V6.. what ?

Down force = mass x gravity.

More of a styling element than real, functional product.

I'd be willing to bet it offers a fair bit more of an aerodynamic effect than most of the current offerings on the market. But there are other problems with the underside of our cars to address, first. Either way, it mentioned that the parts would require welding, etc., for 4/6 cylinder cars because of the exhaust. The car I saw this on originally, was an SS. It just simply bolted up to it.
