im kinda shocked

its amazing after hours of searching far a parts list to do a lt4 supercharger on a lt1 parts list cant be found
everybody just recommends adm performance but the kit they offer has no part #s
I know there is lot of people who made the upgrade I would really appreciate some help :bonk:

maybe I am wrong but I'm seeking fellow Camaro lovers who do this as a hobby. if I wanted retail help I would ask jegs or summit. forgive me if I don't bow down to the retailers who resale something that's available to the public with out a mark up. I do not come to this forum to become a retail customer.

so retailers on this forum please ignore my post I don't need you or your defenders help

What part list do you need

Davispaintandbody 03-25-2020 02:11 PM

thanks for the reply

Davispaintandbody 03-25-2020 02:12 PM

I would love a parts list that I can research and I don't mind searching

They will give you support if you need it too and I believe they have instructions to help you with the swap.

ADM and WX both support the community they put time and money into developing their kits, it would not be fair to post up a parts list of their kits on a forum they support.

i had a list for the lsa swap and it was complete no offence to adm but i like to do my own work and know what i buying like part numbers

when people are on here promote there business it changes the flavor of the forum. they can play the role of they want to help but they really want to promote what they sell.
also the fact that they don't post part numbers is the proof.

I really don't understand your logic.

You say you like to do your own research, yet your asking for someone else to provide you the list with part numbers.

ADM and WeaponX have done all the hard work, researching test fitting and confirming fitment of what is needed, so why don't they deserve the opportunity to make a little profit to keep their doors open.

Then you want to flame them for doing all the work for you and not giving you a free list.

You can simply pick up the phone Call ADM or WeaponX and order everything you need 1 stop shopping.

When you get the parts I am sure they will have part numbers on them so you know what you're buying.

It is very rare I will get involved in a conversation like this but your posts have me Shaking my Head in disbelief.

Ted.

Amen Ted. I am in the parts business and see this stuff all the time. It gets so very frustrating. I dont understand why it is immoral for a company to offer FREE unobligated information to the masses and then also hope that that leads to them making money to put food on the table. Imagine the nerve of some folk.

JANNETTYRACING 03-27-2020 01:41 PM

It is rare but we get it here too.

Someone calls or emails, Hey can you give the part number i need so I can go buy it somewhere else for the lowest price.

The guy that has the lowest price doesn't know what I need.

There logic, I expect you to do all the work finding what I need for free, so I can shop the lowest price.

Me the part number is on the part when you purchase it from us and will be on your receipt.

They get mad.

Unbelievable.

Ted.

Man, I love that response, I think I will borrow that. Of coarse their response is probably going to be "So your not going to give me the part number" then I will say "No" and then they will ask to speak with the GM. Ask me how I know this routine.:mad2: Then the GM will tell us to give the info out.

The really frustrating thing is we are pure commission. We have no guarantee or hourly wage, so we get zippo for giving out free information all day. And it happens ALOT here. And people think they are entitled to it. Ok, vent complete. :D
