Detailing Products Suggestion!!!
 

Just wanted to see your opinion about detailing and auto care products. I was looking at Adam's website, but prices are up there.
If some of you can share your experience this will be well appreciated.

Products are more expensive in canada, but products are not the core of detailing, its the right procedure and good tools that make a great long lasting detail.

Try and download doc 1-5 and then you can look locally for a polish and a sealant, but this is the way to do it , and not spend all day doing it.

Agree with Glen, his procedures are awesome and not only easier/less time consuming, but better!

I have ordered in the past some products from Adam's, like shampoos and microfiber towels, wool wash mitt and they actually are good quality and provide excellent result in the car. Not sure if some of you had any experience with Adam's product in the past.
I am in Ottawa.

Remember you can use any fine polish and sealant that you like. Always a safe bet is meguires: 205 for the polish and NXT for the sealant. Both avail locally.

Don'tt get hung up with meguires vs Zaino vs blah, blah, blah, if it's a major player in the detailing world, they all work if applied correctly. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU BUY IS THE MICROFIBER TOWELS...DONT CHEAP OUT.

stay with rinseless and you'll own 20...I own about 40....but I like a clean towel every time I touch the paint....

Hmm. I'm not seeing the need yet... why? I mean, why 20 or more of those type? 6-7 was more than enough (I think I followed your directions). And I washed them immediately so they're all ready to go next time. No way I'd want to leave them dirty and wet sitting in a bag.

Now, I do have a bunch more of the lower gsm types for cleaning and such. Still good towels, but not nearly as thick.

I mean 40 of all types.....i have 20 good ones, 5-10 tire/wheel, 2-3 glass towels, a few 400 gsm for interior, etc....i retire 5-10 each year.....

One thing that is super important about any of the towels is that you inspect them when they come out of the dryer. INSPECT CLOSE......Microfiber towels, the way they work is they grab stuff and hold it, and they will hold rocks and small pieces of debris and pUMICE that will scratch the car. Run your run flat hand over the entire towel and you'll feel a few rocks that are in there, and will do damage…
