Any love for Summit White ZL1's ?

I found a new 22 inbound for msrp minus GM supplier discount.
White looks good but it seems to calm down the sinnister look.
Not my first color choice but this is a low option car with A10 and Navi
which is what I'm looking for.

Your thoughts on why you chose Summit White.
Or better yet, talk me into it...

I'm not going with a ZL1, but I went with Summit White for an SS because:
- It is not metallic (important if you ever have to repaint a panel)
- It's not like a dark color that tends to make the black trim pieces get lost
- Not a fan of blue and black combined on a car, so Rapid Blue is out
- White gives a good contrast with detail colors like red calipers vs the Red Hot
- Makes chrome look less obvious and I'm not a fan of chrome pieces

White is easiest to keep looking nice with routine upkeep. Personally not my thing but it's totally personal preference.

I like the Summit White on the Corvettes but not as much on the Camaro for some reason. Maybe it is the size difference of the vehicle, not sure. I was torn between the Satin Steele and Black. Black may be a pain but I seem to like it the best on this car so I went with it again. I don't drive much and I wash the car once a week anyway so the extra maintenance doesn't really bother me. You lose the contrast of the trim pieces but it doesn't seem to matter much with this aggressive front end, if anything it looks more aggressive.

I am not a fan of bright red, but that wild cherry color looks pretty nice. The Rapid Blue is too "baby blue" for me. The Vivid Orange is cool but I was concerned I would get tired of looking at a pumpkin after a year or so. My son has that Riverside Blue color on his car so I was tired of looking at that. So, that really leaves shades of gray and black.

Here is a 2022 Black ZL1 with no options, except the A10.

White is typically my favorite color, but two things that annoy me about white, splattered bugs always show up as red stains, and rock chips will show more easily because of the contrast between the bright white paint and black chips.

black trim does pop more with white

I had a Summit White 2016 2SS and wanted a ZL1 or a SS 1LE in white but when I found a low mileage used 2017 ZL1 in Silver Ice Metallic I just couldn’t refuse the deal. It was priced right but that was in 2019. You can’t go wrong with Summit white in my opinion!

This is true. The metallics look great in the sun but trying to touch them up is very difficult. I find black is one of the easiest to touch up but obviously looks dirty most of the time. I wish we had as many colors as Dodge offers. 14 colors, I really like this Sinamon Stick. It looks like a toned down version of the Vivid Orange on the Camaro.

I think white looks great. When shopping for mine I wanted white, but found a great deal on a black one. Black looks good as well, but would trade for white in a heartbeat.

White is fine with the right accents. Nothing kills the sinister LOOK more than a damn VERT OMG

I was searching for white everywhere. All I was finding was blue, red and orange for a steep discount.

White and black go together really well for the color contrast.

I always get sick of the blues reds and pretty quickly.

My Toyota is the background is the cane color also. Maybe I just like white cars.

Lol.

Around where I live every soccer mom drives a white car or SUV. Now I automatically assume every white car driver is a girl, though obviously in error sometimes.

I'm a BIG fan of white. Keep the black trim well detailed and you can't go wrong. A slightly better color in summer heat also.

White is flashy and classy. Cops also don't seem to pay attention to it as much as the candy painted cars I've had.
