Looks good! I'm looking to do the whole mirror though,I don't have the option to slip like you with the red.

Looks good. I just wish there was a vinyl that matches CF more closely though.

Does anyone do already cut wraps for the mirrors? I'm assuming not.
This is something I'm very much considering doing to my car. Just not sure if the upper part of the mirror should be done and I should leave the posts alone or wrap it all. I'm thinking wrapping it all would be much harder. |
In AZ, got a quote for $149 using 3M carbon fiber (was a sale).
|
I was also quoted $150/pair here in FL.....using the same Avery carbon fiber wrap that Laditee used!!! $300 for the hood, and $250 for the rear spoiler. I can't decide if those are good prices or not!?!?!?

Anyone else have experience wrapping their mirrors...or even just the upper part of the mirror?

I tried....
You need heat to stretch it. Very curvy. I just did top half as well. To much going on to try the whole thing. My issue was I over stretched, so about 4 hours later it started to pull off the corners. I also used a cheapy chinese wrap...... I think if I used a quality product and a little less heat. I would have been successful. You need to get some of the filament tape as well to lay down before you wrap. |
