It seems nowadays only truck drivers use CB radios. I found this interesting article:

Usually required by most off road parks

I had one on my Goldwing... was nice to listen to long haul truckers at o'dark thirty when I was on an IBA run and I needed a laugh. :smoking:

It seems there are conditions that are ideal for truckers to use them as described in the article.

Recently got caught behind an accident that had the interstate stopped. Had no idea what was going on so walked back to the 18 wheeler behind me figuring he knew what was up.

Nope, he didn't. No CB radio.

WHY?

Why would I even, I have Mylink with Navigation, Motorola Droid with waze,
Apple Iphone 7, a Belltronics radar Detector, A Garmin ,and if the wife is with me another
cell phone an she knows where I'm going.
