Correction: Oshawa no longer produces the Camaro. It is now built in East Lansing Michigan.

Good thing, I mean that sucks...in general... but good also.

Ordered mine last week. Won't this affect all gm models? Even if the lansing plant is running won't they possibly still need parts globally and by shutting these plants cause a delay in production?

Damn, I hope this doesn't effect Lancing/Camaro orders.

Ya that actually makes a good point, but I guess if they already have the parts and started production it wouldn't matter. Doubt that is the case though, fingers crossed.

LGR Assembly Plant is located within walking distance of the heart of Lansing.

Michigan State University is located within walking distance of downtown East Lansing.

There is a difference.

C&D is wrong, as most of us know 6th gen production was transferred to East Lansing as of last Septemper at the start of MY 2016 production.

Camaro production is not affected by this so this article is moot for Camaro owners/buyers.
