My 2016 Camaro Front-end Rendering

I just wanted to show off my design to the Camaro community. Be honest with your comments but keep in mind that I'm 16 years old.

Looks good, But Headlights+Grill seems kinda similar to the TF4 Camaro. Keep up the good work

IAMTHEDANGER 08-05-2014 12:11 AM

Looks awesome, do some more. Looks a lot better than this ugly thing.

Haha, thanks guys! My vision really did have heavy influence on the TF4 Camaro as I knew the next Camaro would be evolutionary. However, I tried to make it a lot more aggressive and more forward-facing. If you go back to look at the face of the TF4 Camaro, you'll find that the headlights are a bit more recessed and that the upper grille is just more of a thin straight bar. Also to me, the lower grille is too simple and wide which made it at some angles look like it's smiling. I tried to avoid these "nitpicks" in my design.

Anybody that's willing to edit my design may. I'm not good at coloring with markers or at playing with Photoshop, so it would be great if someone could work at making it look real.

looks strangely like a gargoyle or the green goblin from the spider man movies

Brettzel 08-06-2014 08:58 PM

Cool stuff. Have you drawn any in perspective views, or just the front?

Just finished up my vision for the rear-end. I really wanted a wider and lower stance, along with a more aggressive, more sophisticated attitude.

Cool cool. Try drawing the car at front and rear angles, which show the side and back, and side and front.

This is too cool! I like what you did with the exhaust outlets and the wide track tires.

3/4 shots are super hard for me. I'll try a side shot first and then I'll see if I can do a 3/4 shot.

Sounds good, looking forward

Man, just make the exhaust quad outlet instead of dual and I'll be rooting for that design... geez.

Dude you're killing it. Those lines look awesome. I really like the C7-esque tail lights.

Well I tried a side shot and I cant do rims so I used a 1LE pic but I was just trying to get an idea of what your front would look like on a full body.

GroundhogSS 08-08-2014 08:53 PM

Those drawings are looking pretty good.

Lookin' good man. Looks almost like the C7 Corvette with the side profile!

Thanks. That's funny because when I finished and I looked at it I thought the same thing and it was a happy accident, and then I thought of this....

This is seriously the best rear end rendering I've seen. Awesome job. It's different but still Camaro. It's different enough from the fifth gen that this would look great as a sixth gen. :thumb:

This is the drawing I did before the paint.

Neat-o! I'm gonna have to work on that C7 side profile! It does need to have an obvious relation to the Corvette but still maintain a uniquely Camaro physique.

KarFan 08-11-2014 11:54 PM

nice work

bandit38 08-12-2014 08:10 PM

Good job on them both, I like them a lot ! :w00t:

Mrdownsouth 08-13-2014 07:59 PM

Awesome job on both. I love how the renderings of the 6th gen we can all agree on are far from high tech.

I know I'm just echoing what everyone else has been saying but this looks so freaking cool. A bit like if the C7 had a baby with the ZL1. You ever thought about doing car design as a job? Chevy could really use you.
