2650 or other mods? Want opinions please
Ok, I’m currently sitting at 674/640 running 13lbs of boost with the following, e85, 2” headers, no cats, stock ported TB, big gulp. Trying to decide on heads/cam/fuel system, ported blower and meth or just go 2650, cam and fuel system. I’m so torn and I can’t decide lol. I’d like to safely hit 800-850 so I’m welcome to input, pros and cons

I just added the 2650 a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! I went from 629 RWHP to 824! I also have CAI, lower pulley, headers, cam.

How is it doing on fuel? Did you upgrade the fuel system or is it stock?
|
Mag2650, cam, and low side will get you over 800whp on 93 octane with ease.
|
I did not upgrade the fuel system

Man those are nice numbers. SO Hyper I think you have your answer and its a killer package for sure. Go for it.

If you want better IATs and want a lot of room to grow, I say 2650.

Well put. We can get you to 800-850 with max effort build on a stock blower but it'll be pretty maxed out. The blower will need to be spun very hard and without meth your intake temps will be through the roof. The 2650 on the other hand is just getting started. |

It's funny observing the IATs. I would think at low load, cruising on the highway, that it would go down, but it, in fact, does not. After seeing people in the industry talk about this behavior, it started making sense why it acted this way. But, a hit from a dig only up to about 70-80-MPH dropped temps a couple degrees. That was after a well-heat-soaked cruise around my neighborhood for like 30-minutes, stop-and-go, not getting above 30. I'm sure it's something like that for other options out there, but I'm very impressed. That is the biggest reason I went with this blower. |

I’m gonna do cam, aux fuel system and the bigger blower, probably meth also just to be safe.

I don't think many people will say you don't have a good combination to get you where you want to be.
