Sell or Scrap
Looking for a general consensus of opinions. When replacing your exhaust system from (cat back) did you try to sell the stock exhaust system or did you just scrap it?
If you were to sell it what would be a fair asking price for a excellent condition system 3000 miles on it never driven in rain? I am just wondering what others have done with theirs? |
I’d be surprised if anyone would buy it. Mines in my basement and it can be put back on later if I choose.
|
would it even be worth storing it for the off chance you might put it back on? I am asking why would you take off the aftermarket and put the stock back on?
|
For selling the car or emissions testing (if applicable). A lot of people who buy performance cars want the car to either be 100% stock or they want the stock parts in hand.
If you are trading it in to a dealer it wouldn’t matter though. |
thanks Chief

not worth anything. I gave mine away, after it sat in the garage for 6 months.
|
I only did an axle-back but I was able to find someone local to me who paid $80 for the suitcase.
I was about ready to trash it. |
guess i could try to list it for sale, but it seems like it may be more trouble than its worth trying to get it back to the house from vengeance
|
Toss it ... Not worth keeping not to mention the space needed then your trip and fracture your Hip.
|
I might be interested in just the tips. The ZL1 has bigger tips than the SS. I eventually want to delete secondary cats and keep the suitcase. Just hate the small tips.
|
Let vengeance get rid of it!

i gave it to a neighbor who tried to sell it, but he eventually acrapped it and got 60 bucks for it. |
Leave it at Vengeance Racing and let them dispose of it!
