Forum change
It seems we are seeing more and more posts about selling or trading of people's Camaros. Why people need to post their justifications for doing so is perplexing. I really don't care if you want to trade or sell your car, that's your business. It's almost like people have to get others buy in to their decisions. This forum is for Camaro enthusiasts I thought, airing life choices makes this forum seem like Facebook. No offense to those making these posts but, you really don't need our opinions on your life choices.

Still good discussion and still about Camaros.
I see your points but it doesn’t bother me much. |
I could care less either smokin. They made the decision to sell theirs so move on!

For the record, mine blew up

The irony here is thick. :smiling1:
Creates thread...entirely opinionated...about how opinions don't really matter. :twitch: |

I personally like reading other peoples thought process about why they bought or sold their Camaro. It's always interesting to me the way other people think. |

I sold my '67 Camaro with a 327 and 2-speed auto in 1978. It had all-original rust panels, was a regular winter driver, and never had snow tires. Also, I am sitting on a leather couch with non-racing cushions, drinking coffee. It's all on topic because "Camaro," right? You don't want to read this? Then, why did you?
|
Yeah, I see no issue with posts about buying or selling. It's an open forum, skip over what you don't like.
|
I agree with others...skip over them.
But I will say this. If you are one of these people and wish to sell, then perhaps just look for one of the already existing threads and add to it! Also, for me (and most here) the Camaro is not just another car. It's more than that. When/if I sell it, you can damn well bet I'm going to be talking about it somewhere with someone. Why not do that with my fellow Camaro comrades? I've been a part of the Camaro5/6 forums for well over a decade now. |
They never bothered me and like others have said, skip over the post. I think some folks have posted in hopes of seeing if anyone was interested in purchasing the car before posting in for sale area, selling to a dealer or trading in.
|
...and add to this all the fact that what we're seeing in the motor industry right now in terms of buying/selling is unprecedented. Who could have ever predicted 2 years ago that any car you purchased then would be worth more today, so we shouldn't be surprised this is a hot topic where loving Camaro owners are rightfully considering their options...
