Locks and Key Fob - No Response

Hi all! I was only able to find one short thread about this from back in 2018 but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and what the end result or fix was...

I have a 2017 LT V6 vert and I have had this issue 3 times now over the last 2 years, always away from home. I would stop somewhere and when I returned to the car, the key fob and the proximity sensor buttons on the door handles would not work. No response whatsoever from the car. Lock/unlock, trunk opener, etc. would not work. Basically the car shut down completely.

All 3 times, after about 10 minutes, everything would start working again.

The one thread from 2018 said they changed the control module and it was fine. Before I go to the dealer (and they say they can't replicate the problem), any others have a similar issue?

Thanks in advance!

TSB 16-NA-396 fixed it for me. Had the same problem earlier this year, car would fail to detect the remote after I drove somewhere. They replace one of the modules.

Yeah, I did that less than a month ago so shouldn't be the issue.

Thanks! I will mention that TSB when I call the dealer.

Finally had a new control module put into the center console yesterday (they had to order one) and lets hope this works. I mentioned TSB 16-NA-396 and that is what the tech referenced in the notes on the work order.
