Okay here is what is going on with our Camaro blackouts.

We do not have enough employees to make the blackouts here at our shop.
So we have another company making them for us. We have been working with them for years and they do a great job.
Unknown to us even though we specified a clear tape to be used on the blackouts they used black tape instead.
It was not until a forum member posted a picture and the tape could be clearly seen that we understood what other forum members had been saying.
(Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.)

So what we want to do to make things right.

We will send out free replacement blackout kits to anyone that wants them.
All you need to do is contact us via phone call or send us a PM with your name and/or order number and we will get your replacement blackouts sent to you.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will continue to do business with us.

Can you post a pic of what they look like with the brake lights lit up and in reverse.

Cgocifer 03-20-2018 11:44 PM

Would like to see them with lit tail, brake, and reverse please

This might be a dumb question but are these legal to run in California? Small town with bored cops here

I am working on getting some more pictures of these blackouts with the brake lights on right now.

We use the same material on our C7 Corvette blackouts. Here is a link to our install video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=4cA_1OEfZz8
Skip to the 2 min. mark to see the brake lights and reverse lights.

Thanks. Looks like the brake lights show well. Still curious about the tail lights and how bright they are through these lenses.

They definitely look great.

These blackouts like all other blackouts are for "off highway use only". What you do with them is up to you.

Yeah, I'd like to see some side by side (one side installed, the other side OEM) in day/night lighting.

Still brake lights. Hoping to see some with only the tail, running lights lit.
