iPhone X issues

I tried a search and no luck -

Anyone have an issue with the iPhone X and the shuffle feature - when I hook up my iPhone via bluetooth the phone randomly cycles through all of the songs and stops every once and a while and will play a song, and then when I try to hit forward to play another song, it does the same thing.

Sometime it just keeps cycling through all of the songs with out playing any off them - it is very frustration - does it connected with CarPlay also

Am I doing something wrong?

I connect it to the charging cable. No Bluetooth. No issues.

I have a weird issues with all my Apple devices when playing music. I don’t think I’ve tried my iPhone 8 yet, but my 6, old 4S, and both my iPod Nano’s have the same issues. It would intermittently freeze between songs, then do some goofy things. Usually skipping ahead a track would clear it up, but sometimes it would get out of synch and be playing a different song than displayed. I found that if I set the playlist to random on my device, it would no longer happen. Took me a while to figure that out. I’m not sure if that’s the same issue you’ve been experiencing.

We just switched to Apple and I've had that issue as well but only in my GM cars. The Fords seem fine but one thing I noticed is that sometimes it would also only play songs I selected manually from my phone. If I tried to skip to the next song, it would go to the next song I had previously selected to listen to manually. I use Napster not sure if that makes a difference.

I have this issue in both my GM and my RAM. Drives me crazy.
