Looks like we're getting at least one more model year for Camaro in 2024.

I just got the most recent 2023 Build-Out and 2024 Start-Up list from GM and Camaro is listed as a 2024 model with production start-up showing TBD for the date production will begin. The last day of production for 2023 is 8-3-23 so expect 2024 to start production soon after. This is good news as it's not likely that Camaro would be listed if we weren't going to get a 2024 model.

Key 2023 dates:

Build-Out: 8/3/23
Final Dealer Order Submission Week: 6/15/23
Final 2023 Dealer Consensus: June Cycle 1

That would be cool , I wonder if there will be any special packages. I would assume if they do go through with the 24 that would absolutely be the final year. I also wonder how hard it will be to get a hold of one or if they will eliminate some of the current packages out there to shorten their parts requirement(like the 1LE) and constraints.

I hope this will be a full model year of production and not just the “Farewell Edition” described in the GM Authority post from last year.

I dunno, if they make a green one thatd be nice. Not a fan of yellow

Nice to see the final dealer submission date 6/15/23 instead of sometime in early May. It might take that long for my ZLE order to get picked up.

If they make a rally green again, I may buy it and sell my 2022 Satin Steel.

As much as I love my Rapid Blue, if they brought back Krypton Green it would seriously tempt me...

100%, I agree.

Interesting news... thanks for the heads up

Hugger Orange (or whatever it was called in ‘21) would be the only thing that’s get me to pass on my 23 order. Otherwise, I really don’t expect GM to give the Camaro a proper sendoff, and certainly won’t have the hubbub around it like Mopar has done for the Challenger. Probably just some stickers…

Glad it looks like maybe we're getting one more year .
Might be possible those on the waiting lists would finally get a car .

Can anyone confirm this 100%?

I can 100% confirm that this is the information straight from GM to me.

If Gearhead says it, it's accurate. I see the same thing, it's 100% correct
